Sometimes going the extra mile still doesn’t get you the part! I was in Dallas with my family and needed to film a self-tape for Sketchers. They wanted a shot of me speed-walking while running my lines.

My dad being the epic techie that he is, just so happened to have a brand new drone camera.

Cut to, we went the extra mile!

Even though I didn’t get the part, this is one of the most fun self-tapes I have ever done. My little siblings helped, we had the family dog on set, and my dad was an incredible director.

While we nailed the camera work, we had no sound guy! My voice was drowned out by the sound of the drone’s wings, hence the awkward voiceover I had to add in.
